Randal B of Cappa house Kilrush related to Randal Borough of Querin House now spelt Querrin
Querrin House can be located in Sonia Schorman collection Photo Section clarelibrary.
The are a no of branches of the Studdert family in the West Clare area in the 19th century, Atlantic House can also be located in the photo section clarelibrary. It was located at the East End of Kilkee and on the site is the Ocean cove Hotel the boathouse in front of the original picture survive's to the present time. About the currachs check the web for http://www.westclarecurrachs.com
Cappa village is situated south of Kilrush town and in times past it was the port where timber and such goods were landed as Kilrush Quays were tidal and were not accesable at all times. It is now the base for the pilot boat on the Shannon Estuary and Kilrush Inshore Lifeboat.
Querrin townland is southeast of Kilkee on the north bank Shannon Estuary about 8km in the parish of Carrigaholt and can be accessed on the 1842 maps along with Cappa and on other maps clarelibrary maps section.
