Cullina, Union of Killadsart

Post by dpsutton » Wed Aug 01, 2018 1:19 pm

Morning. I have a related McAuliff family who were noted living in Cullina, Killadysart, Clare at the time of children's birth 1866-1877. However, cannot find this location on any maps. Is Cullina the same place as Cullenagh located near Labasheeda. Cannot fine Cullina in townlands listing or Griffith's. Thanks. Dennis

The townland is in Killofin Parish in the Kiladysert district. It is spelled Cullina in the Tithe Applotments in 1834 and Cullenagh in the Griffith's in 1855, where Sinon McAuliffe is present.
