Lyons Family Ennis

Post by lenc » Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:26 pm

I am trying to trace the family of Mr John Martin Lyons from Ballyglass County Clare and Ennis.

I enclose here his birth cert and 1911 census form showing his Mum and Dad, as well as a piccie.

My interest in him is that he joined the Franciscan Order at the same time as my Dad, September 1935 for the Reception and September 1936 for their Profession. John Martin Lyons took the name Brother Arnold Lyons.

I would love to contact the family,as I have some information and a few photos that might be of interest to them.

Thanks for reading my message. Fingers crossed!!

There was an Alexander McMahon married to a Mary Culligan. They had 10 children baptised in Kilrush between 1828 & 1848. I think the family later moved to Kildysart. I have a couple of DNA matches with a Lyons family headed by a Flan Lyons from Ennis.
