New Quay marriages and baptisms

Post by Sduddy » Sun Apr 02, 2017 12:50 pm

The Catholic parish of New Quay is made up of two civil parishes: Abbey and Oughtmama. Here attached is my transcription of the New Quay marriages 1848 -1864: http://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls0 ... 1/mode/1up
The document I transcribed is a transcription of the original, and, alas, this means that there are three layers of mistakes: the mistakes made by the priest, the mistakes made by the first transcriber and then the mistakes made by me.

The transcription, which was attached here, has been transferred to Donated Material: http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... ecords.htm

Here is my transcription of the New Quay baptisms 1847 - 1854: http://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls0 ... 1/mode/1up
Again, I was transcribing from a transcription.

I edited this on Feb. 04, 2018 when I discovered that Baptisms by Mother's Surname had not been sorted to show the mother's surname in the first column. This has now been corrected.
