Thanks for flagging (oops, excuse the pun) this most interesting article, Sharon. Natural stone textures fascinate me. Stimulated by this article I discovered that if one Googles for "Liscannor stone" one finds a number of websites (some of them most tastefully designed) of stone quarries around the Moher/Liscannor/Luogh area with beautiful photos of present-day applications of the local stone.
