In Truagh Cemetery there is a headstone for the O ‘Connell family . I am trying to trace my Aunt’s R.I.P. (Ann Hackett of Fermoy ) husband ,the late Mike O Connell who I believed was from this area. I have seen an old photograph of the Mike in Parteen heading
an army detachment probably in the 1940’s . Michael died in Fermoy ,Co .Cork in 1997 probably in his seventies. I understand Mike had
