Surname Conroy = King (sometimes)

Note on the surname King: according to Edward MacLysaght, in The Surnames of Ireland (sixth edition)), King is usually an English surname; but it is also widely used as an anglicised form of several names by pseudo-translation (rí [Irish for] king); viz: Conry, Conroy, Cunree in Connacht, MacAree and MacKeary in Oriel, and even sometimes of Gilroy and MacKinn.

I wonder if these Miltown Malbay baptisms form an example of Conroy becoming King? :
31 Dec 1844: Bridget of Pat Conroy and Bridget Minahan, Ballyvaskin
4 Jul 1850: Cate of Pat King and Biddy Minahan, Town
7 Dec 1852: Pat of Pat King and Bridget Monahan.
