Surname Quilty = Woods

Note on the surname Quilty: according to Edward MacLysaght, in The Surnames of Ireland (sixth edition)), Quilty (Ó Caoilte) is mainly found in Munster; the same name as Kielty and Keelty is more usual in Connacht. It has also been anglicized as Woods (erroneously from coillte [irish for] woods).
I found an example of Quilty becoming Woods in the Caher Feakle baptisms:
?? Jul 1842: John of Thomas Quilty and Cate Larkin, Faha.
22 Oct 1845: Thomas of Thomas Woods and Catherine Larkin, Faha.
14 May 1849: Biddy of Thomas Woods and Catherine Larkin.
