1911: Still living in Newtown, Galway South Urban, John McNamara, aged 48, and wife Bridget, aged 46 and 8 children. Two more children were born to them after 1901, but their eldest child, Mary Kate, had died in 1906, aged 20. The youngest child, Francis, aged 6, was born in Corofin on 27 Jun 1905 - probably the family were visiting relatives there at the time: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/p ... wn/902132/. Francis died in 1919 aged only 14.

John died on 27 Jan 1913, in the Fever Hospital, Galway, aged 55; occupation Mason: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/ ... 487039.pdf. The family moved to 17 St. John’s Terrace.
