That notice did not include the contribution made by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners; the notice on Mon 3 Aug 1863 includes that contribution and amends the estimate to £180.New Church for Inchicronane. The christian public, who enjoy the means of Grace and, under God’s blessing, enter their Parish Church Sabbath after Sabbath, are humbly, affectionately, and earnestly solicited to assist in this most necessary work. At present there is only a licensed room in the village of Crusheen, and a clay floor and a few chairs and forms, wholly unsuited for the due celebration of Public Worship, preaching of God’s Word, and administration of the Sacraments. Any contributions to the above, will be most thankfully received by the Rev. Henry Fry, Vicar, Kilkeedy, Gort, the Church Wardens, Francis O’Brien, Esq., Durra, Ennis, and Mr. James MacEnally, Crusheen. Contributions to be lodged to the credit of the Rev. Henry Fry, at the Provincial Bank of Ireland, Ennis. Sum required, £90.

Clare Journal, Thur 8 Oct 1868:
Civil record: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/ ... 219242.pdfMarriages. At Inchicronan Church, Michael Furnell Marshall, Esq, of Lough Bunny, Co. Clare, second son of the late Laurence Marshall, Esq, of Tomoline House, Co. Limerick, to Lizzie, eldest daughter of Thomas G. Antisell, Esq, of Ashfield House, Galway, and granddaughter of the late Thomas Antisell, Esq, of Traduff, Co. Tipperary.
In his book, The Parish of Inchicronan (Crusheen), (1993), Thomas Coffey says,
I haven't found any photo of Inchicronan church.Twigge in his notes dated 1906-1910 recorded “The Protestant Church in Crusheen is a poor ugly little building and used when there are Protestant police in the neighbourhood”. His assessment of the church was not very accurate however, as the little church was fairly well constructed and was well maintained. It was demolished to make way for a community centre on the site, in Gortaficka townland.
No Protestant minister was ever appointed to the parish, and services were conducted by pastors from other areas. (p 125).
