Clare Journal, Thur 10 Dec 1863:
Female Emigration. Mrs. Stamer, of Carnelly, has just sent out to Adelaide, at her own expense, a number of female emigrants from the neighbourhood of Clare Castle. This is a most praiseworthy act on the part of Mrs. Stamer, and it is only right to say that it is the second batch she has sent in a similar way this year.
