Clare Freeman, Sat 24 Nov 1877:
The managing committee of the County Infirmary, acknowledge the receipt of 24 rabbits and 6 pheasants on the 20th inst., from the Right Hon Lord Inchiquin, for the use of the patients in the hospital.
Clare Freeman, Sat 8 Dec 1877:
Following, we presume, the noble example of Lord Inchiquin in presenting game for the patients of Ennis Infirmary, a present of 15 pheasants and 10 hares has been forwarded to the Westminster Hospital from his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, for the benefit of the in-patients. A similar benefaction has been received by the authorities of the Charing cross Hospital.
