Thomas Moland's Survey of County Clare 1703

Congratulations and Thanks to Clare Library and the Local Studies Centre for giving us Thomas Moland’s Survey of County Clare 1703: https://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/cocla ... survey.htm. The placenames, alone, will prove to be of great interest, I think. The maps mentioned in the introduction, if ever they can be reproduced, will be of great interest too. Back in 2010, I looked at one of the maps in the Clare Studies Centre, i.e. “Moyery” [Moyrhee], barony of Inchquin, and was struck by how close it was to the outline of a group of townlands in South East of Kilkeedy parish: http://www.ourlibrary.ca/phpbb2/viewtop ... f=1&t=3352. The map included a little drawing of the castle. It was lovely.
