We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions to www.clarelibrary.ie
The documentation will be reviewed on a quarterly basis for uploading to website.

Thanks Clare Admin for that advice.
Can I ask what are the implications for our ongoing transcriptions of parish records.
Does this mean that the Library is prepared to publish the transcriptions on the website?
If so, will they need to be resubmitted, and in what form?
I appreciate your guidance on this.
Cheers
Kevin Murphy

Hi

Yes, the library is prepared to publish transcriptions on the website.

We will view the transcriptions and if we require them to be resubmitted,
we will let you know.

Thanks for your ongoing work.

This is great news and many thanks to the Clare Library staff for getting this up and running again.

On another note, on behalf of Clare Roots Society, I would like to thank all those volunteer transcribers who have tirelessly been transcribing the parish registers. Sheila Duddy is an absolute gem for all the hard work that she has put in and many thanks from me in Tulla for the great work in transcribing those registers. Eric would also like to thank Sheila for the Killone parish registers which have just been transcribed. I know that there are other transcribers out there like Murf and Sharon and others and thanks to all of you for your hard work. These registers will help so many who are researching their Clare roots. Your volunteerism is much appreciated.

Jane.
