Sheila, very timely comments, thanks. Also, it's a source of joy and positivity that we have the Forum to communicate our interests and encouragement to do more in bringing forward into 2024 the very foggy past of Clare. We follow in the footsteps of T.J. Westropp, Ignatius Murphy, and Gerard Madden. I have to keep reminding myself that my Quaid article is just a survey of his life while in Clare and not a definitive work on his significance. So, with that limited goal, it is time to get writing. I have been able to amass more good material since I first posted here about my objective.

BTW, I think submission for placement on the Library's website (with links from webpages of the civil jurisdictions within the RC Parish of O' Callaghan's Mills) will serve my purpose of reaching family historians needing the information.
