Hi,
I just recived a copy of a 1880 Marriage certificate for a Marriage at the Chapel in Tomganey, registered in Scarriff.
The Residence for both Bride and Groom is listed as "Coolreigh" would this Coolreagh ?
Thanks in advance..
Peter

Almost certainly. Coolreigh is in the parish of Kilnoe which is adjacent to the parish of Tomgraney (see parish maps at http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... es_map.htm). Coolreigh and Coolreagh sound identical when spoken (e.g. to a registry clerk).
