Is there an online listing of all who are buried in this cemetery?

Thanks...I remember seeing that now...even checking the second time, my relatives still aren't there! :D

The Clondegad Cemetery is one Parish/Township to the east of where my relatives came from, Cappanageeragh. I wasn't able to find any cemetery listings there, though.

This may be a silly question, but have you checked out the Kilchreest graveyard? It's not so far either and there are Brownes there.
Also the parish marriage register contains a healthy collection of Brownes. I have just completed transcription of the register and it should appear on the website in due course. If you can't wait for that I could send you a preview.

Murf -

I just checked that cemetery and most if not all of the Browne's are from late in the 19th century or much later. As far as I know, all my relatives left by around 1850 or so.

As for marriages, I have no information about any marriages prior to 1850, but it could have happened. The parents who were married in Ireland probably would have done that around 1820. Their names were George and Ellen. Do your transcriptions cover that far back? All of their kids were born between 1823 and probably 1840 or so. The two oldest children were married in the US.

I've PM'd you with my email address if you transcriptions might have some things that could be of interest to me.

Thanks...Kurt
