The Irish Canadian 27 Mar 1872, p. 5
Information Wanted
Of Daniel Cusack, Tulla, Co. Clare, Ireland. When last heard from, he was in Toronto...His friends in Ireland are anxious about him. Please address Thomas R. Sullivan, Sarnia P.O., Ont.

If Daniel survived to 1880, he may have been the 65-year-old single man on a county poor farm in Appleton (Outagamie Co.) Wisconsin, so perhaps he never received word of the above attempt to reach him.

There were 15 Irish-born older men named Thomas Sullivan in Ontario Province in 1881, none still in Sarnia, which is on the most southern shore of Lake Huron (part of the Great Lakes) and due north of Detroit, Michigan.
