On Thursday week at Kells*, County Clare, Mr James Foster, formerly of the Inland Revenue, residing with his nephew, Mr Robert Foster, JP, Barrister-at-Law, Rinroe*, walked out after breakfast to a new schoolhouse which is being built in the neighbourhood. He was talking to the workmen, when he suddenly fell forward, and expired instantaneously. (Dublin Weekly Nation - Saturday 29 January 1876).
