Fogarty killed in train accident 1881

A young farmer named Fogarty, not long married, has been killed by falling between the railway platform, at Tubber, in the County of Clare, and a moving train, on the occasion of a throng of people to bid farewell to emigrants (Liverpool Mercury - Saturday 09 April 1881).
