Possible spam

Post by nanub44 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 2:31 pm

Please be aware. Received an e-mail from "PJ Culligan" with an important message. Link to drop box, asked for my e-mail account address and password...Did not do it as I would assume that if PJ had a message for me it would be through this forum. Came up twice and I deleted both... Denise

Thank you for this alert. The mail you received is dangerous and is known as phishing (rather than spam, which is only annoying) because it requests your password. The link to "drop box", if clicked on, would almost certainly download malware. You did well to delete.

Hi - I see on Facebook page that Paddy Waldron has made PJ Culligan aware of something irregular on his account. Miriam.
