James O'Brien and Bridget Torpy, Kylebreedia Graveyard

Post by Kevin J. O'Brien » Thu Aug 13, 2015 5:07 am

I came across the grave of an O'Brien in Kylebreedia Graveyard, Mullagh, County Clare that I could not find any further information. The family may have left Ireland around the famine years. This is the Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish.

Is there anyone with descendants of James O'Brien and Bridget Torpy of Kilclahane, Mullagh looking for their Ancestral home?

Oh Lord have the Mercy on the soul of James O'Brien Kilclahane who departed this life September the 27, 1838 Aged 64 years. Erected by his beloved wife, Bridget O'Brien alias Torpy for her and posterity May his soul rest in Peace. Amen.

I would like to hear from anyone that can connect to this family.

Sláinte,
Kevin James O'Brien
