Those of us who have been anxiously trying to figure out what "mid-July" means in the National Archives have had their answer this week with the following new announcement at
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/a ... plans.html :
We now expect to be placing the first listed tranche [including Clare] online by late August
We will see in a few weeks whether "late August" really means "late August"!

For those who have not seen the good news buried in another thread - late August really did mean (very) late August - the 1911 census of Clare - and of numerous other counties - is available online at long last!
