How can I obtain a birth certificate for Mary Madigan, born in 1902?

This seems to be the family in the 1911 Census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/p ... ha/362131/

I'm not at all sure that the GRO address you gave P.J. will work for a genealogical record. The application form requires information that you probably wouldn't have - until you get the certificate!

Has anybody used this service? It would be very useful to know of others' experiences.

You can also try contacting the Sandfield Centre is Ennis who hold the Civil Registrations of births, deaths & marriages back to 1864. The staff there are very helpful. You can get a genealogical copy of any certificate for 4 euro. Here's the address
