There were numerous Daniel (O')Gormans associated with the adjoining townlands of Knocknagarhoon and Carrownaweelaun.
Daniel who married Margaret Gibson on 21 Jan 1853 died on 21 Aug 1881; Margaret was still living in Carrownaweelaun in 1901. Their youngest known child Daniel died in infancy (b. 13 Dec 1868, d.16 May 1889).
Daniel who married Catherine Blake on 16 Feb 1868 was the son of yet another, older, Daniel. He was living in Knocknagarhoon in 1901 and his widow was still there in 1911. Their youngest known child Daniel went to America, but returned with the funds to buy a farm in Moveen.
As ever, the credit for the parish register transcriptions should go to Murray Ginnane.
