Is Fr. Tom O'Brien a Clare man ?

Post by smcarberry » Wed Feb 12, 2014 1:38 pm

In researching a different O'Brien, I came across the only other O'Brien in their Kansas cemetery, Fr. Thomas, ordained 1917 in an unknown location. The online 1920 Irish Catholic Directory has no listing for him, so it does appear that he immigrated to the U.S. prior to that year. The Irish censuses don't provide any definitive candidates for him or his aunt Ann Foley. I don't have access to the U.S. Catholic Directories, as those are all available in hard copy only. T

This is not a pressing need. I am just wondering if anyone recognizes these people.
