HAREN from Inagh/Milltown Malbay clare

Post by cathymkc » Fri Jul 06, 2012 2:12 am

GDAY:)
Im in Australia and my great great grandparent was Bridget HAREN
She was Born circa 1842 in Inagh/Milltown Malbay , Parents Honara and john , she had several siblings
Bridget/Katie/Annie Haren and Mother Hanorah came here in 1850s/1860s apparently there was a brother Thomas who stayed behind in Clare...He was a Schoolteacher...Looks like several haren families from around the same area too
Anyone researching this Family Please ?
thanks
regards
cathy:)

I checked the baptism records for children of John and Honora Haren in the Miltown Malbay and Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish. There are not any families registered with the parents names of John and Honora Haren.

Hi Cathy - the next parish to Milltown is INAGH - and on looking at Griffith Valuations of 1855 I see many Haran/Haren families on the list. Go to www.clarelibrary.ie - Genealogy - and then 'RESEARCH SUPPORT' - then Parish of Inagh - - lots of info.
