Looking for information on the famly of Francis O’Brien and Mary Hogan.

They arrived in Australia with 4 children on 3 Feb 1852, Vessel Name: Joseph Somes. They had assisted passage and they were from Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare.

Francis O'Brien's parents were: Michael O’Brien & Catherine McMahon
Mary Hogan’s parents were: Dennis Hogan and Ann Daveron

Patrick O’Brien 14 yrs (14 Oct 1838)
Mary Anne O’Brien 12 years (29 March 1842)
Catherine O’Brien 9 years (1844)
Francis O’Brien 6 years (28 Aug 1846)

Australia Records indicate they were from Smithtowns and Francis O'Brien has a brother Michael O'Brien in Australia.

The O'Brien and Hogan family look like may have been from Cahermakerrila Townland in the Parish of Killeany Parish. This is about 6 miles East of Lisdoonvara, County Clare.

The Tithe Applotment Books of 1831 for Cahermakerrila show Frank O'Brien and Dennis Hogan as Occupiers and Daveron is in another townland in the Parish.

Does anyone know if there are baptism records available for their children in the KILLEANY PARISH Records.

Hogan's and O'Brien's are in the 1901 & 1911 Census. If anyone is related to these families please contact me at killernanfarm@gmail.com.

Slan,
