Am tracing my gggrandfather, John Taylor b.1805, of Coolisteague, near Clonlara. His wife, Eliza Whelan, died a week after giving birth to my ggrandfather, Robert Taylor in 1835, and John emigrated to America, leaving his sons to be raised by an aunt (they both came to Australia in 1855). I wonder what became of John?
Would also like to discover how John was connected to Colonel Edward Taylor b.c.1710, of Askeaton and Ballynort.
