Michael McNamara of Feakle drowns at Lahinch July 4 1859

The Irish Times reports the drowning of Michael McNamara of Feakle, ploughman to Mr Sheehy, whilst bathing with others at Lahinch. He was not out of his depth but called for help and sank. Cramp was surmised as the cause.
