Honoria McMahon O'Brien 1816-1890 of Miltown Malbay,

Post by Kevin J. O'Brien » Tue Jun 04, 2013 1:59 am

Can anyone help me identify which O'Brien family Honora McMahon O'Brien 1813-1890 is from in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare.

Honora O'Brien
is buried very close to my O'Brien family from Killernan townland in Killernan Graveyard, Co. Clare.

This inscription reads:
TO THE MEMORY OF HONORA O BRIEN WHO DIED APRIL 11th 1890 AGED 74 YEARS ERECTED BY HER BROTHERS PATT AND THOMAS McMAHON CREVAGH MAY SHE REST IN PEACE AMEN

I just received the death record for Honor McMahon O'Brien of Miltown. She was married to an O'Brien publican in Miltown Malbay and her son John O'Brien registered the death in Miltown Malbay in April 1890.

I check the 1901 Census records in Miltown Malbay and could not determine which O'Brien family she would have been married into.

Thank you,
Slán,
