The Irish Times of Thursday July 3 1873 reports the following criminal cases returned for trial:
Cornelius, James and Daniel Howard - Murder of Pat McCarthy at Coolbawn near Tubber
Michael Cuddihy (a lunatic) - Causing the death of his mother at Killadysart
Michael Mullins (Sixmile-Bridge) - Administering poison to his wife
Pat Greene (Killadysart) - Stabbing
Thomas Clancy and others - violent assault
Matthew Gleeson - violent assault
Michael Creaton - Perjury at the Sessions
