FRAWLEY/CODY IRISH FAMILY

Post by beverley » Wed May 08, 2013 1:42 am

refer "looking for Frawleys/Cody's" Catherine posted 9th Sept. 2010.
I am a descentent of Patrick Frawley and would like to make contact. Michael Frawley (Patrick's son) and his sister landed in Sydney in 1854 and other members in 1855 and 1858. Michael's mother was Susan Cody born in 1795 and married Patrick in 1820. From Catherine's (Clare Library "'information Patrick lived in Ballyvanaven Doora is in the 1st May 1825 applotment book. Did he have other siblings, what did he die of and where is he burried? I would love any further information from Catherine that she may have.
Susan (Cody) Frawley died aged 68 from chronic bronchitis. Susan along with her sons Michael and Richard and Michael's wife Bridget and grandson Patrick are burried in Old Ballarat (Victoria) Cemetery.

Very surprised to see the notification i had a reply. How far back have you researched?

My grandfather was Thomas Frawley born 1869 died 1943. I know there is a big Frawley family in Bendigo, Gippsland and have just recently learnt there was another Frawley family living in Sebastapol . My mother was a Frawley from Bungaree. I live in Pakenham Victoria.

Beverley,
a pm is a 'private message', that's all. When you log in to the forum you can check for messages left for you by another forum member by clicking on the 'new messages' link on top left of page beside your login name..

Hi Beverley,

First of all thank you for your lovely and honest answer.
Just under every "post" that is forum message
you see "profile" and "pm"
click on PM for sending someone an private message
(especially if it has contact details or info you don't want the rest to know)

These forums are well known, I see them for years,
they are using forum designed templates which you can adjust to your needs.
(also there nothing new)

I think it also best practice if moderators/support/admin using their
first name when responding to the question instead of now:
clare past mod, clare support, clare admin.
It makes it more user friendly, now they are semi-Gods.

my regards Beverley from Andrew - Melbourne
