Halpin Hallinan
Still trying to track down my Hallinan origins. I'm thinking Ennis is a good probability since their Halpin cousins came from Ennis.

THE HALPIN FAMILY OF MAGOWNA, KILLANIV
At the time of the 1826 Tithe Applotments, Owen Halpin was identified as occupying land in Magowna, Killaniv.
Patrick Halpin and Mary Daffy
Patrick Halpin and Mary Daffy were married on February 11, 1846. They had at least two children. Here are the Baptism records for those children:
• Michael Halpin was born February 2, 1849 (Michael Daffy and Hannah Daffy)
• Margaret Halpin was born March 18, 1856 (Pat Fitzpatrick and Catherine Daffy)
The 1855 Griffith’s Valuation lists Patrick Halpin as renting 23 acres, three roods and eight perches of land from the Marquis of Conyngham. The land contained a house and offices.
The Halpin family is not present in Magowna, in 1901 or 1911.

Re: Halpin-Duffy-Miller-Hallinan
I don't think my Owen Halpin line belongs with this group. There were at least 2 Owen Halpins (around the same age) in the New York area, both with spouses named Mary. Patrick appears to run in the other line, but it is not a name that runs through my line. Luke, John, Eugene, William, and Owen, but I don't think I've come across a Patrick.

Re: Halpin-Duffy-Miller-Hallinan
I am just so confused by the many different area names. My records show my Halpins and Daffy/Duffy coming from Ennis, I found the Daffy family in Mahonburgh but Marcus put down Inch on his Naturalization document. Are these three different places?
