Below are a few online Google books, which can be reached by placing quotation marks around an author's name or a title, when using the Google search engine. The result brings up text plus a search engine which brings up the results of any keyword you wish to use. In the money claims book (by the same lawyer who started a law directory which, I assume, has become the major international law directory known as Martindale-Hubble), the entries are very short and can consist of any fact known about the person being sought, such as a last known residence in Ireland (or elsewhere in Europe) or the U.S., an occupation, year of immigration, etc. I saw listings with years as early as the first decade of the 1800s.
