Fenloe Graveyard

Post by charlotte1809 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 4:35 pm

I wonder if anyone can help...

When looking for more information on my ancestors I came across the following picture of a headstone:

http://goo.gl/6nGHY

It has details of my relatives but I cannot make out the dates on the headstone. I am wondering if anyone else may have a clearer picture from visiting Fenloe graveyard themselves or if someone lives nearby and could send me a better quality picture? Unfortunately I do not live close enough to visit myself.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This link should work. http://foto.clarelibrary.ie/fotoweb/Gri ... rch=Search

When providing a link from the library's Foto collection http://foto.clarelibrary.ie/fotoweb/ it is only possible to make a link to the result of a search query. This results in the thumbnail image, which can then be clicked on to get to the image itself. In effect you are creating a link that replicates a search query, i.e. that passes a query to the Foto search engine.

There are three headstones in this photograph, two O'Rourke and one McNamara. I presume you are interested in the O'Rourke headstones, and have attached a close up selection from the original photo to this message.

Hi

Thanks for your help.

I am actually interested in the McNamara headstone as well, they married into the O'Rourke's.

I can make out some of the writing but other parts are very blurry, can anyone help out with this?

Any help is much appreciated.
