Michael Crotty, Kilrush to central NYS

This biography states the Clare location as Gourhas, quite similar to Gowerhass, where two Crotty families lived in 1855.
Hornellsville in Steuben County has appeared on occasion in my researching, as there was a construction firm there in the mid-1800s who hired Irish right off the boat. A West Clare family named Carberry set up a business in the nearby Mt. Morris area, just to the east, in Livingston County.
