Sexton's of Moyglass More

Post by Kevin57 » Mon Jun 25, 2012 7:17 pm

Hello,
I am new to this site and find the information extremely interesting and helpful. My grandfather, James Sexton emigrated to New York in 1910. I have found him in the 1901 census at 4 Moyglass More in Mullough,Clare. I am trying to find some additional information regarding my great grandparents, Thomas Sexton and Margaret (Halloran), or possibly his siblings. (I know his brother Michael came to the US prior to my grandfather. Any place to find birth, marriage ,baptismal or death certificates/information?
Thank you for all of the great Sexton information provided here!

Kevin,

Recently, I completed transcribing all the Sexton marriage and baptism records for the Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish. This includes your Sexton Family of Moyglass More, Mullagh. Check with the County Clare Library website in the next few weeks. They will be posting them shortly on the Genealogy page under donated material and the Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish page.
A cousin and I now have a Sexton Blog site: http://sextonofkilmurryibrickaneparish.blogspot.com/ You can contact me at that address and I will share with you what I have on your family.

Good Luck on your family research,
Kevin J. O'Brien
