An online 1921 local history book on Montana residents has information in biographies on the following people, provided in full on the attached pdf in this order:

These are death notices for Clare-born Montana residents, which appeared in the early 1900s in a Montana newspaper.
Anaconda is west of Butte, the nearest city, and is along a major route between North Dakota and Spokane, Washington.

15 Sep 1901 Anaconda Standard Michael McCARTHY, a well-known resident of this city died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Lappin, 517 East Commercial avenue...was a native of Kilkee, CCI. In 1873 he came to Pittsburg [Penn.], where he resided until 1892, when he came to Anaconda...

12 Oct 1914 Anaconda Standard p. 3 After a lingering illness of several months, Michael TOWHY died yesterday...at his home, 323 East Commercial Avenue. He was born in CCI, 54 years ago and had been in Anaconda 21 years. The family came to New York from Ireland and went...to the copper country in Michigan, returning to New York before coming to Montana. Mr. Towhy is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters, Thomas, secretary of the Mill and Smelter's Union, Patrick and May, residents of Anaconda, and Margaret, who lives in Chicago. His mother and two sisters in Albany, New York, and three brothers also survive him...funeral...from St. Paul's Church...
