Death of a Centurian
I found this notice of Margaret Fox McMahon formerly of Kilmurry, County Clare, Ireland.
She was living in Elmira, Chemung County, New York in 1888 when she died at 102 years.
Elmira, New York was the new home for many new Irish immigrants from County Clare.
Margaret was married to Martin McMahon a farmer. They had 11 children 8 boys and 3 girls.
Martin McMahon died circa 1846. After Martin died, Margaret first went to England and then to Elmira, NY circa 1866.
