McInerney History and Origins

Post by Luke McInerney » Fri Jul 11, 2008 9:14 pm

Dear All,
Please see attached to this post an article that I authored on the historical origins of the Clare McInerneys. This article was published over two parts in consecutive issues of The Other Clare journal in the 2007 and 2008 publications. Attached is the complete article for those interested in either the origins of the McInerney (Mac an Oirchinnigh) family, or those attempting to undertake a similar project. The article can also be viewed on-line in the family history section of the Co Clare library website. For those interested in the ecclesiastical medieval history of Tradraighe (modern-day Newmarket-on-Fergus parish) please contact me for an advanced copy of an article which I have authored exploring kinship ties and parish clerics in the 15th century. This article will be published in this years' NMAJ.

regards,

Luke McInerney
