Marcus Keane the Benevolent (1842)
It seems that Marcus Keane could be a very benevolent man. Here we have a report of him paying all the taxes on the estates of Mr Nicholas Westby in the parishes of Moyarta and Kilballyowen to take the pressure off the poor.
