Thanks very much, Paddy, for thinking to post these links. The format is intriguing, as so much data is organized and accessible with just a few clicks. The selection criteria for housing data makes for not only a great visual display but also is the only web presentation on that aspect, so far as I know. It is startling to see the degree to which people left and houses went unoccupied in the area below Killaloe, between the Shannon river west over to almost the Kilkishen-Sixmilebridge corridor. On the other hand, in other areas, some rural townlands experienced minimal displacement of people, while adjoining townlands emptied out. All of this is easily found due to the way the website managers have labored to perfect the presentation.
My editor's eye picked up on the misspelling of "uninhabited" but hopefully that can be addressed at some point.
