This news item can be retrieved from the Library of Congress newspaper database; there might be more of the article than these two sections I kept in screenshots, shown on this page. Patrick Hopkins was born 1829 in Clare (location not named) and arrived first in Maine (abbreviation "Me.") and stayed shortly in Gardiner, Massachusetts. Timothy Nolan is listed as his cousin. The date of Patrick's death is not stated, but his son Timothy's trip to Massachusetts is described in this 26 Sep 1891 article in the San Francisco Call newspaper.
