tracing patricia rosina mcgee

I am trying to trace a family for a client.
Her name was Patricia Rosina Mcgee as far as her family know she was born in 1934 and as far they know she was born in County Clare.
When she was a child she was sent to St Marys Convent for some reason.
She eventually left Ireland to join the R.A.F. (W.A.A.F.) at what age they do not know.
She got married in England (Surrey) in 1954.

The daughter wants to find out her history when she was in Ireland if possible.
