Keane family, Clare to Maine mid-1700s

Found while casually reviewing online Google books. This time period is usually regarded as primarily when the "Scot-Irish" cycled out of the northern counties and into North America. This however is an early example of a Clare family's emigration, for an unknown reason but the family evidently went to some length to preserve the memory of their original homeland. My supposition is that a West Clare location was involved.
