Video "In the Steps of Delia Casey of Ballinacarra"

In the Clare Library blog at http://clarelibrary.blogspot.com/ you will find a link to a very touching YouTube video entitled "In the Steps of Delia Casey of Ballinacarra". It is an account of how a father and son travel to Ennis to visit the family that stayed in Ireland (Delia Casey emigrated to America in the early part of the last century and several of her brothers and sisters stayed behind). They visit Bunratty Castle, the Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch, the Burren, the town of Ennis and other sites in County Clare and reminisce with the family. The clip is very well made, with well-chosen and evocative background music.

Required viewing this weekend for anyone interested in Clare family and social history.

Paddy
