Hi
i'm looking for any info on the above patk j crowe b1878 approx - 1935
his mum was bridget o'halloran
he married nora hynes and they had one son frank b1935-85
the story is that himself and his brother joined up for ww1 after a long
drinking session! his ww1 details are: R. Mun Fus. Pte.; R.W.Fus L/cpl;
R.Ir Rif L/cpl; L'pool RL cpl
His brother died when a trench caved in on him and he returned from the
war with an injury but died later from cancer
if anyone knows where i'd get further info on this pls let me know
ps. also looking for crowe relatives!

Check the Clare Library site at www.clarelibrary.ie for Ruan Crowes.
For example, here are what are probably your Crowes in the 1901 census of Ballyogan More at http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclar ... e18_16.htm
That tells you the townland where they probably lived (if that's the right Crowe family).
So if you search the 1911 census of Ballyogan More you find a family living there which matches them (except that they have changed their name to its Irish version) at http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/p ... re/351897/
