In the Weekly Journal or Saturday's Post (London, England) of Saturday, July 8, 1721 we read that Mr Norton Fitzgerald, son of William Fitzgerald of Moya-Castle in the County of Clare, got into a philosophical discussion "......of a dubious nature..." with Mr Richard Grantham after dining at Temple-Hall and bathing at Chelsea. The discussion got out of hand, they drew swords, and Mr Fitzgerald died of his wounds.

The report contains some brief notes on Mr Norton Fitzgerald's antecedents.

I don't know which "Moya-Castle" is referred to here. Maybe someone else in this forum can clarify this.
