The people of Ireland have been putting their money in O'Dearest mattresses on and off for well over a century now.
The company apparently takes its name from Limerick-born Michael O'Dea, b. c. 1852-4.

I now suspect that Michael had roots in Clare - can anyone confirm or refute this?
